Cybersecurity Training for Managers
Security starts with you – lead by example and inspire others.
The training is intended for university employees in managerial positions (e.g. secretaries, deans, vice-deans, vice-rectors, rector, heads of RMU departments, heads of special-purpose departments, etc.). The aim is to:
- Introduce specific technical measures (in particular multi-factor authentication and password manager) that will immediately increase the level of protection against cyber threats and facilitate the handling of passwords.
- Recommendations and guidance to reduce impulsive behaviour in mail processing that will reduce the risk of a successful spear-phishing attack.
- Familiarization with additional measures and procedures (both technical and procedural) that will help increase the level of cybersecurity not only for the managers themselves, but also in their workplaces.
- Explaining the role of leaders in dealing with cybersecurity incidents.
This is not a comprehensive course. The emphasis is on an individual approach and putting in place specific measures that will bring the most benefit. Through our method of minimum effective dose we give you one technical measure and one habit shall fundamentally strengthen your resilience to cybersecurity threats. Plus, we'll add several recommendations on how to protect yourself and your team.
